There is a fee with the above and some work from home jobs require headsets, certain amount of memory on your computer and sometimes a webcam it all depends on the job you apply for. You can see which jobs are hiring in your state. I know a few ladies working for liveops. But I couldn't get work there as I live in CA.

There are jobs posted on craigslist.org, backpages.com and I just google free classifieds for my area to find work from home or out of the house.
I have known people who found work from snagajob.com and I get their email alerts.

There are so many books out there you can rent from the library for ideas.
Housecleaning make flyers , clean offices, ask the neighbors if there is any house cleaning that needs done.

Check with local senior care center as out here they take people's phone numbers put them on a list to help seniors who need help. Seniors request the list and I have used them before..
